A White Company Christmas in July

Last week I attended a bloggers press event by The White Company, I get invited to quite a few press events these days, but it's not always easy to get out with a young family and busy husband. Luckily I was able to attend this one, which was in the very swish  Rosewood London Hotel. I'd never been there before but I was mightily impressed.

First of all we were taken to the 2nd floor which had set up in a very luxurious suite decked out in The White Company products almost head to toe, including super soft cotton bath towels draped over a stunning marble bath, and the softest bed sheets you could possibly lay on, cosy loungewear hanging up in the wardrobes, and not forgetting the huge array of sumptuous smells that hit the nostrils as soon as you walked in.

Once we had been shown around and introduced to all the products old and new, we were whisked upstairs to the most beautiful Christmas sight you've ever seen. And if that sight alone didn't do it for you, the most delicious mulled wine and Christmas treats couldn't fail to get you yearning for that festive time of year.

They had clearly made a huge effort with the kids Christmas room, which blew everyone away as you walked in. There were so many great ideas for making Christmas extra special for kids that my jaw kept dropping every few seconds once I spotted another intricate little detail I loved. One fabulous idea that will stay with me - is the use of fresh flowers in their own little water reservoir on the Christmas tree. The photo doesn't do it justice but it's a novel and wonderful idea that I'll be using for sure.

Which special Christmas traditions do you love to do each year?
