My capsule holiday picks from Kaleidoscope
In the not too distant future I'm going to Barcelona for the weekend with my hubby, and we've decided we're only taking hand luggage for our getaway. As we're minus the kids for this little adventure and it's a novelty to travel lightly these days.
A company called Kaleidoscope got in touch recently and asked me to take a look at their holiday shop. I haven't come across Kaleidoscope before, and at first glance I wasn't sure it would be something I'd be interested in, as I'm a bit of a creature of habit when it comes to the companies I shop from. But if you look a little closer, they have some excellent clothing that I'd happily wear on my weekend away. They work with top brands such as Clarks, Joe Browns, Kaliko and my new favourite Heine, as well as their own label. Looking at the holiday shop specifically, it is full of gorgeous maxi dresses, bright, bold prints and intricate detailing. So where ever you go on holiday you'll definitely find something to look amazing in.
The great thing about Barcelona is that you have all the benefits of a city but with a lovely beach attached, and of course fantastic shopping for all budgets. I went years 2 years ago with the girls, and even though I was in the early stages of my 2nd pregnancy at the time we had the best time. Dancing on the sofa in the W hotel bar on the last night was definitely the pinnacle of the trip.
So here's my capsule wardrobe for Barcelona, minus the mundane things like underwear and toiletries, oh and shoes, I didn't include shoes in this edit. And obviously they are anything but mundane but we're just looking at the clothes for now.
For the beach, a bikini of course and I found this beautiful lace cover up in the Kaleidoscope holiday shop that comes in white or black. Together with some shades and this hat (also on the website) I thought it made really cool outfit for the beach and for sipping cocktails at one of the beachside bars.

For a day's shopping, because we all know a girl can't go to Barcelona without sampling what the amazing shops have to offer, I thought this spotted playsuit would be perfect for a relaxed effortless look whilst doing all that 'hard work.'
And for the evening when we go out for a lovely meal and a few cocktails (again) - this vibrantly printed slinky dress and bronze box clutch would look just the part. I just adore the colours on this dress.
Now all we need to do is go and have a look at what shoes to wear with the outfits...
Do you like my holiday picks?
What would you pick from the Kaleidoscope website to wear on holiday?
