Squeezing myself into the slinky styles of
River Island is, for now, on hold. So I
was very excited to see that the fashion brand has recently revealed a spanking
new collection for kids – perfect for my daughter Coco.
Aptly named River Island Mini, the new
mini-me range takes inspiration from the main fashion line, but the designs are
appropriately altered to cater for kids aged 0-3 years. Plus the line also includes a small range of
accessories and toy monkeys perfect for your own little monkeys.
I’m not a big fan of cutesy cutesy clothes
for Coco, so we tend to buy out and live in the likes of Zara each season. Like
them, River Island’s new offering seems to hit the right-balance between pretty
and trendy. The campaign shots are fresh
and fun and the reasonable pricing will certainly have me
heading into store soon.
I’m yet to purchase any pieces for Coco and I am definitely more keen on the girls clothes than the boys (I know, I am biased!), so
I am holding back on giving the collection a full thumbs up for now, but from simply checking out the range online I have high hopes!
