A Crafty Christmas at M&S

Following on from my "Fun & Easy Christmas Ideas for Kids" we got the chance to try out some super Christmas crafts from M&S. When the lovely box arrived my little boy was very excited to see what was inside. We were gifted with some ceramic tree decorations and pretty paper lanterns to get crafty with. He of course gravitated straight for the tree decorations as there was paint involved! So, newspaper down, a bowl of water and we were good to go. They came with instructions - which were helpful, as although we knew how to paint the decorations, they came with some handy hints on mixing colours.

Simple, yet effective and perfect keepers to put up each year. My son really enjoyed making these.

Second off were the paper lanterns, again, simple instructions and the finished look is very cute. They were a bit fiddly for his little fingers, but would be perfect for a slightly older (or more delicate) child! They're a nice homemade addition to the decorations, and look quite rustic.

Best of all they are both extremely good value for money, and they have the added wow factor as we made them together.

Check out the M&S Christmas shop for plenty of other crafty ideas which would be fun to do, especially with the holidays fast approaching. And just in case like me you're still yet to do your shopping their Kids Wonderland has lot's of lovely gifts, and even better they deliver to your local store so you don't have to wait in for deliveries!
