Pinch and a punch for the 1st of the month, and this month is going to be mega busy. Starting with our Street Party today, my mum's wedding next week, my birthday, Britmums 2 day blogging conference, my husband's birthday and probably a whole lot more I'm forgetting. And we only got home from holiday in the early hours of this morning, so I'm hitting the ground running.
I've been on my annual two week family holiday so sorry it's been a bit quiet on the blog recently. We went to Egypt and had an amazing time. Full review of the place we stayed will be on the blog soon.

My regular followers will know that recently I got to pick out some holiday clothes from Kaleidoscope, and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time just before my holiday.
So here I am rocking my new threads:
My absolute favourite item was this lace cover up below, I had loads of compliments on it and it was so easy to wear, it didn't snag or catch either like some lace clothing. It doesn't look like I'm wearing anything underneath but I can assure you I am, it was a flesh coloured, big pants bikini.
And the hat I wore every day. Whenever I've taken hats on holiday before they haven't lasted long because they get misshapened really easily. But this hat got battered, stamped on, sat on and soaking wet but what was great is you can shape it again easily afterwards because it had wire in it and it looked even better a bit worn anyway.
I swear I didn't plan this polka dot matching sensation, it just happened and I'm a bit dozy like that, that I didn't think about what we looked like until after. My daughter's dress was from F+F for tesco and a bargain at only £6. I did change soon after this photo you'll be happy to know, mum and daughter matching outfits isn't really our thing ;) And anyway I think this playsuit would better suit someone who isn't 'blessed' with thick thighs like myself!
I'm trying desperately hard to pose naturally here as in most of the photos my husband took I look so bloody awkward, so the kids and me started jumping. Will somebody PLEASE teach me how to pose properly and not look like a twat. Anyway loved this dress. The silver sandals are from Asos.
I loved the print on this dress so much and I wanted to show how versatile it could be, so I paired it with one of my fave skirts and wore it as a top - which I loved too.
We had an absolutely amazing time and I can't wait to tell you all about it.
Stay tuned.

Lovely picts - the black cover-up is amazing *I need it*! Your pose is lovely- very natural and you look so happy - I hate having my pict taken! And as for the polka dots - dressing like my toddler isn't my thing either but they do make great pictures - you both look great! Look forward to reading your holiday post.
