Bakery in a box

I blog because I love it. Not for the money that's for sure. But one of the lovely benefits is you get to review things now and again, and I have to say this review was the most popular I have ever done with the rest of the members of this house. My husband hasn't normally got a particularly sweet tooth he usually passes on dessert. Even he however was won over by this particular perk of blogging.

One Friday morning a lovely packaged box of home-made bakes arrived at the door. The kids went into a bit of a frenzy when I showed them. They don't take much persuading when it comes to trying sweet things so I will definitely not use them as a barometer for this particular review. I urged my husband to try one of the sticky ginger flapjacks and he rather reluctantly took a bite. Well that was it, he said they were so delicious that he couldn't stop eating them and this is coming from the son of the best baker I know.

We were sent a box of delights including triple chocolate brownies, mini lemon drizzles, chocolate caramel chews and of course the infamous sticky ginger flapjacks. Everybody that came to the house was given something to try, and absolutely everyone including myself adored them.

Bakery in a box is a company run by Hannah and her helpers, Hannah started up the company whilst on maternity leave wanting to evoke the memories of childhood smells. They deliver nationwide and are beautifully presented, they would make a wonderful gift for any occasion. A cousin of ours has recently given birth to her 2nd child, 1st daughter, I think the home-made delights would make a wonderful gift for the whole family (except the baby of course) to enjoy. And to keep her going during those long nights aheads!

If you'd like to order a box of home-made delightfulness go here.

P.S - I was sent this for free to review. Hannah asked for my honest feedback good or bad, well here it is.
