It's a J.Crew invasion

J.Crew has long been a firm favourite of many a stylish American, with celebrity wearers such as Michelle Obama adding to this brand's credentials. J.Crew is perfect for you, our readers, I would say it appeals to the 25-50 age range, being too expensive for many students and offering a more sophisticated yet not too serious or frumpy look often associated with brands aimed at anyone above a pimpled teenager. Headed by Jenna Lyons, the Creative Director, they strongly promote mixing it up, be that contrasting patterns, casual with luxe, masculine and feminine. Which I might add we at Style Me Sunday would whole-hearedly concur with.

So far us Brits have only been able to purchase J.Crew pieces on the internet, although it has for long been a favourite of the most influential fashion bloggers, it has so far been under the radar of many of us ordinary folk. Well that looks set to change sharpish, with the recent opening of three London stores, yes three in one go.  J.Crew look set on getting their teeth into every British fashion lover's wardrobe (not on a tight budget I hasten to add).

Jenna Lyons- Creative Director, effortlessly fabulous.

Examples of J.Crew styling:

J.Crew wouldn't leave out our mini fashionistas. Their kids range can be seen at the Regent's Street store. The men's store is in Lamb's Conduit Street.

Some of the J.Crew pieces I'm coveting at the moment.

Which piece is on your wish list?
