Carnival

carnival |ˈkärnəvəl|    noun    A period of public revelry at a regular time each year.        Notting Hill Carnival is just that. It's a place full of colour, music and merriment. Every year people from all over the world head to West London to enjoy europe's largest street party and all that the carnival has to offer.

Yesterday Natalie and I headed west and partied at Norman Jay's 'Good Times', the eclectic mix of old skool tunes had the crowd rocking! Without doubt one of the hottest and most stylish spots to be.

The beautiful handmade costumes were bursting with colour, as was just about everything else! The stands selling a plethora of wonderful food, street sellers with bright hats, flowers and horns.

And as anyone who has visited before will know the spirit of carnival is so contagious that everyone seems to dress with fun in mind. We caught a few lovely ladies on our way through and their outfits summed up the atmosphere perfectly (whilst hitting on some key trends too!)
