A look back at Easter with Waitrose

I've never been that into Easter, even as a kid I don't remember it being a big deal, this Easter however was a big deal. I guess it's because it's my biggest girls first year at (religious) school. She seemed very excited to say the least. Luckily Waitrose were on hand to help me out with some excellent ideas that I would never have thought of.  Have a look here it might give you some ideas for next Easter. There are recipes for homemade chocolate Easter eggs, cupcakes and cookies. A free downloadable Easter game that helps kids to learn about the outdoor and Spring time, egg decorating and so much more. You could even use the game to go and have fun with the kids now or as inspiration any time of the year, it was extremely popular with our lot.

We were sent a basket full of goodies for the most perfect Easter egg hunt game. The kids loved answering the questions, playing the game and finding the goodies. My daughter doesn't like chocolate, yep bit of a a weirdo I know, so we were happy to find not only chocolate but sweets as well to satisfied her sweet tooth for Easter, and make her super happy.

Disguising the fact that she's disappointed with what she found.

Finding some sweets behind the tree. I think a swap happened soon after.

Next year I'm going to be much more organised and actually get involved with some of the many other  suggestions on the Waitrose's Easter Inspiration page, you should too.

Hope you had a great Easter. Let me know what things you like to do every Easter with your kids - I need all the help I can get!
